On the initiative of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, dormitory facility has been made available separately for men and women patients and their attendants in Himachal Bhawan, New Delhi. Both the dormitories are fully air conditioned with facility of six beds each.
The facility of dormitories in New Delhi would facilitate the patients and their attendants who earlier had to face a lot of problems for staying there.
On the direction of the Chief Minister, the facility of two dormitories has already been provided in Himachal Bhawan for the boys and girl students separately who visit New Delhi for pursuing their studies or competitive examinations.
The senior manager of Himachal Bhawan said that reservation for these dormitories can be done through General Administration Department of Himachal Pradesh government on telephone number 0177-2880426.
