Ansal University joins hands with Heart Care Foundation of India to conduct Perfect Health Mela encouraging Fit Delhi – Fit India

New Delhi, October 21, 2019:

Ansal University, in partnership with Healthcare Foundation of India, successfully concluded the 26th edition of Perfect Health Mela (PHM), held at JawaharLal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. The three-day affair was a flagship project of Heart Care Foundation of India, which has been an annual event ever since 1993. The event lured in health critiques and fitness enthusiasts along with others who intended to address their health concerns. PHM further catered to people from diverse demographics, showcasing activities such as health seminars, check-ups, entertainment programs, exhibitions, competitions and workshops.

Sh. Satyendra Jain, Honourable Health Minister, Government of Delhi, graced the occasion and supported the cause.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr K K Aggarwal, President of Health Care Foundation of Indiasaid, “The growing population in India is becoming a crucial concern for the residents, specifically in terms of medical amenities, making it difficult for health experts and doctors to cater to everyone justly. The intent of Perfect Health Mela is to talk about the concept of Main Fit Toh India Fit, where they create awareness about people’s holistic health, elaborating upon how keeping oneself healthy will eventually lead to making the nation fit, encouraging comprehensive wellness. “

Health Care Foundation of India partnered with the Government of India, along with various sponsors from the private sector like Johnson & Johnson, LG, Coca Cola, Kent, Mankind and many more to make the event a success as it created awareness about various health issues. This year’s Health Mela has been grander than its previous editions and swarmed with comparatively more exhibitors and activities to engage the attendees.

 Prof. Dr. Monica, Director, Sushant School of Health and Sciencessaid, “The allied health care professional can play a major role on prevention of diseases through awareness and primary care. Routine health check is the key and the government should make this mandatory. The medical doctors are already short and they cannot support this thought, so the graduate technologist who understands the human body and health system can very well be educated and trained to be involved in the preventive care.”

Perfect Health Mela allied with Ansal University and further stormed the industry, creating awareness and addressing health issues of people, in order to offer guidance with their treatments and cures. Gaining limelight, the event witnessed enormous public engagement and served as a great accomplishment for the sponsored partners.
