Fortis Hospital, Nagarbhavi introduces, Nest- A Woman and Child Care Unit

On the occasion of International Women’s DayFortis Hospital, Nagarbhavi has launched Nest, a Woman & Child care unit. The 50 bedded unit will include gynaecology, paediatrics, paediatric superspeciality, neonatology, fetal medicine and 24/7 emergency care. The main objective of this centre is to provide premium birthing facility and quality services and care to new mothers, newborns and kids in and around the vicinity of Nagarbhavi Road.

Through Nest, we want to continue our legacy for women and child care apart from our core specialities like Neurology, Urology, Orthopedics, general surgery, and ENT. We believe that offering a mother & child care services in a multi-speciality set up will help the expectant mother to get a comprehensivehigh-quality medical care all under one roof.

The Nest at Nagarbhavi Road is a replica of an already existing center at Fortis Hospital, Bannerghatta Road for personalized care for expectant and new mothers. Equipped with highly trained nurses and paramedics, the Nest offers superior, personalized care for expecting mothers, over a period of 9 months, starting from the first trimester to the first three months after birth.

The new facility comprises of Neonatal Care Unit, Peadiatric Care, ICU for women care, 50 beds and state of art technology for multidisciplinary women and childcare. The facility is one of the first in the step towards comprehensive patient care and well being of child health in the locality. The centre will also provide various facilities like obstetric services to menopausal women, adolescent health care for girls above 13 years of age, special services to gynaec-oncology amongst other services.
