Pending cases of Ladli scheme to be settled on an immediate basis

Under the Department of Women and Child Development and Social Welfare, all pending cases of financial assistance and pension schemes will be resolved on an immediate basis and all kinds of irregularities will be removed. This decision was taken in a meeting with senior officers of both the departments under the chairmanship of Rajendra Pal Gautam, Minister of Social Welfare and Women and Child Development, Government of Delhi.

Minister Gautam closely reviewed all the financial assistance schemes and pension schemes and gave strict instructions to the officers that pending cases under any scheme should be fixed immediately. He said that under the Delhi Ladli scheme, the officials should conduct home visit of beneficiaries who are unable to come forward to take maturity benefit under the scheme . Officials said that under this scheme, even after giving public notices repeatedly in the newspapers, the beneficiaries are not coming forward to take the maturity benefit of the scheme.

While reviewing the pending cases of various pension schemes under Women and Child Development Department as well as the social welfare department, Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam ordered the officers to clear all the pending cases of all the districts within a week.

Minister Gautam said that the department should also organize the process of taking life certificate from the concerned bank so that the real beneficiaries can get the benefit and public money can be kept safe from fraudsters.

For speedy disposal of pending cases, documentation process should be expedited  by contacting the beneficiaries.

Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam is ensuring that all  irregularities in disbursement of pension and other financial assistance schemes are removed.
