Today, as a part of the ‘YUVA Development Skills of Delhi Police Program’, Fortis Hospital Shalimar Bagh recognized the hard work of 6 young men and women, presenting them with certificates which highlighted the completion of their training, along with their letters of employment. The event was attended to by Ms. Usha Rangnani (DCP, North-West Delhi), Aalap Patel (Additional DCP, North-West Delhi), Swadesh Prakash (ACP, North-West Delhi), Sher Singh (SHO, North-West Shalimar Bagh), Mahipal Singh Bhanot (Zonal Director, Fortis Hospital Shalimar Bagh) and Dr. Gurvinder Kaur (Medical Superintendent, Fortis Hospital Shalimar Bagh).

Mahipal Singh Bhanot, Zonal Director, Fortis Hospital Shalimar Bagh said, “The objective of this collaboration (between Fortis Hospital Shalimar Bagh and the Delhi police) is to train youngsters from the neighbouring marginalized communities with skills which will enable them to secure employment, either in the hospital (as support staff) or through other avenues. They have successfully completed the two week program and we hope their peers will be inspired by their success and feel incentivized to become a part of the next cohort.”
