Fortis Hospitals, Bangalore conducts “Guardians of Health” HR Conclave to reinvent the role of HR in the new normal

Bangalore, November 27, 2021:

With an aim to help the HRs create a healthy and meaningful version of the new normalFortis Hospitals, Bangalore conducted Guardians of Health, HR Conclave 2021. The focus of the conclave was Reinventing the role of HR in the new normal amidst resumption of the offices post second wave of Covid-19. The conclave aims to help HRs understand and manage the processes, protocols and way forward to operate in the new normal in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic.

The conclave was attended by more than 200 HR managers, HR Directors and CXOs from leading corporates in Bangalore in the presence of Mr. Anil Vinayak – Group COO, Fortis Healthcare, Mr Rajan B Pandey -Chief Human Resource Officer, Fortis Healthcare, Dr Manish Mattoo-Vice President, Fortis Healthcare, Mr Venu Menon-Business Partner – HR, Fortis Healthcare, Dr Vasundhara Atre – Director-MSOG, Fortis Healthcare and the Facility Heads of other Fortis units in Bangalore.

Thematic panel discussion were organized at the conclave: Employees Mental Health & Covid-19: Learnings & Way Forward, Women at Work: Navigating the Pandemic and Reimagining the Workplace: Adapting to a New Normal which was followed by a Q&A session with the HRs.

Mr Rajan B Pandey- Chief Human Resource Officer, Fortis Healthcare, said The unprecedented pandemic has brought a major shift in the work life over the last year and half. Starting from work from home, virtual meetings, long working hours and now hybrid working model, we all have been trying to manage and fit in to the new normal. It has been difficult for most of the individuals to create a balance between our personal and professional lives. Through this conclave, we wanted to help and also acknowledge the contribution of Human resource personnel’s in keeping things aligned and simultaneously helping the employees manage the blurring line between personal and professional life during these tough times.”
