55th Raising Day Celebrated by the Society for welfare of the Handicapped

Chandigarh, April 19, 2022:

Society for welfare of the handicapped, managing Patiala school for the blind, Patiala school for the deaf and Patiala school for the deafblind celebrated its 55th foundation day on 16 April, 2022. Lt Gen JS Cheema, PVSM, AVSM, VSM was the chief guest. Mrs. Sakshi Sawhney, IAS presided over the function. Sh. VS Tiwana, DSSO Patiala was the Guest of Honour.

The complete programme was conducted by the blind and deaf students themselves. Many items were presented with blind children singing and deaf children dancing, without knowing what is each other’s contribution.
