Robotic surgery enables the surgeon to see more precisely, operate more accurately, and identify the parts of the body that have to be handled. In addition, rather than the large wounds used in older techniques, it uses small, strategically placed incisions. These enhanced capabilities give an increased safety and recovery period.

Is it true that robotic surgery is superior to traditional surgery for knee replacement?

Robotic surgery is better than traditional surgery for knee replacement. Various studies have shown that the alignment and balancing of the knee replacement is better in robotic surgery than conventional surgery. Function and life of the knee replaced implant depends on alignment of implant as well as the ligament balance

How long does it take for a robotic knee replacement to heal?

Recovery in robotic surgery is earlier than traditional surgery. The robotic surgeries are less invasive and there is less injury to the soft tissues and bones. Cut is also less and the healing rate is high.

What is the rate of success for robotic knee replacement?

Robotic knee surgery is less painful because soft tissue trauma is much less. As surgery is planned before and on the CT Scan so the amount of tissue trauma is less

Is a robotic knee replacement less painful?
