New Delhi, July 16, 2022:

As per Newsweek, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital stood at Ninth position overall in India achieving 74.10% score.

Sir Ganga Ram Hospital stood as “SECOND BEST PRIVATE HOSPITAL IN DELHI NCR”* and scores were calculated for each hospital in each of the three categories and weighted. Peer recommendation (50% National and 5% International), patient experience (15%) and medical key performance indicators (30%).

This was Newsweek’s fourth edition of world’s best hospitals. Sir Ganga Ram Hospital which stood overall at 11th position in India in 2021, has jumped by two positions to 9th overall best hospitals in India.

The goal of this study was to provide the best data-based comparison of best hospital reputation and performance across countries.

The 27 countries included for 2022 ranking were India, US, Germany, Japan, South Korea, France, Italy, United Kingdom, Spain, Brazil, Canada, Australia, Mexico, Netherlands, Austria, Thailand, Switzerland, Sweden, Belgium, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Israel, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Colombia.

According to Newsweek magazine “A mention in the ranking is a positive recognition based on peer recommendations and publicly available data sources at the time. The ranking is a result of an elaborate process which, due to the interval of data-collection and analysis, is a reflection of the last calendar year. Furthermore, events preceding or following the period 01/01/2021-12/31/2021 and / or pertaining to individual persons affiliated / associated to the facilities were not included in the metrics.”
