Delhi Metro has accorded highest recognition to Corporate Communication function

New Delhi, August 05, 2022:

It is proudly said that every year the number of passengers that the Delhi Metro carries is greater than the population of the United States; while the deepest point of the Delhi Metro might lie 45 metres below the Rajiv Chowk station the highest point lies in the hearts of its personnel who run it day and night to sustain its world-class status, reliability and safety in operations.

Recognizing the importance of modern-day communication strategies, Delhi Metro has done yet another first by according the highest recognition to the Corporate Communication function and Mr. Anuj Dayal, has been elevated to the position of Principal Executive Director (Corporate Communication). This is so far the highest position in command in the areas of corporate communication.

Shri Anuj Dayal has been heading the Corporate Communication team for over two decades and it has worked shoulder to shoulder with other core teams in implementing the modern technology and expanding Metro Rail network in Delhi.

The Corporate Communications wing of the Delhi Metro has been recognized as a Centre of Excellence by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA India) to be emulated by other projects.
