New Delhi, June 5, 2017: Jaypee Hospital in collaboration with Indian Society of Dermoscopy, Onychoscopy &Trichoscopy (ISODOT) and DERMASOURCEINDIA organised a two day first Asia Pacific Summit on Dermoscopy. The conference saw more than 250 national and international delegates and faculty. The doctors discussed about the Non invasive technique of Dermoscopy. Dermoscopy is the future in Dermatology. It is like a dermatologist’s stethoscope. Dermoscopy offers a profusion of extra diagnostic uses including better patient comprehension about the disease, prognostication, pre and post therapy comparison and even aesthetics. It curtails the need of biopsy of skin, the disease can be diagnosed from outside the skin only just like an Ultrasound. It has been extensively used worldwide, now India too is gearing up for it.
