Safdarjung Hospital Inaugurates Two BLS-Equipped Ambulances with Support from FIEM Foundation

In a significant boost to emergency medical services, Safdarjung Hospital today inaugurated two new Basic Life Support (BLS) equipped ambulances. The vehicles were provided with all the necessary equipments through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of FIEM Foundation, marking a collaborative effort to enhance healthcare infrastructure in the national capital.

The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Dr Vandana Talwar Medical Superintendent of Safdarjung Hospital, with Rakesh Singh Advisor, FIEM Foundation, in attendance. Several senior medical officials were also present, including AMS Dr.P S Bhatia, Dr. Jayanthi Mani, Dr. Kapil Suri, Dr. R.P. Arora ,  Dr. S. Chandan, Officer-in-Charge  Transport .

These state-of-the-art ambulances are equipped with essential life-saving equipment and are expected to significantly improve the hospital’s emergency response capabilities. The BLS facilities onboard will enable medical staff to provide critical care during patient transport, potentially saving more lives in emergency situations.

Speaking at the event, the Medical Superintendent expressed gratitude to FIEM Foundation for their generous contribution. “These ambulances will play a crucial role in our emergency medical services. We thank FIEM Foundation for their support in strengthening our healthcare infrastructure,” the MS stated.

Seema Jain, Managing Trustee FIEM Foundation, emphasized the organization’s commitment to healthcare initiatives. “We are proud to support Safdarjung Hospital in their mission to provide quality healthcare. These ambulances are a step towards ensuring that critical medical support reaches those in need swiftly,” she said.

The addition of these BLS ambulances is expected to enhance Safdarjung Hospital’s capacity to respond to medical emergencies, ultimately benefiting countless patients in the Delhi-NCR region.
