HOPECON’25 Inauguration Marks the Start of India’s Premier Multidisciplinary Medical Conference

The fourth edition of the National Comprehensive Multidisciplinary Medi-Edu-Care Conference, HOPECON’25, was inaugurated today at ITC Royal Bengal, Kolkata, bringing together an illustrious gathering of medical professionals, policymakers, healthcare educators, and thought leaders,Organised by the Kolkata Nurture Foundation in association with UNI EDU HEALTH and Valmiki Healthcare,

HOPECON’25 is envisioned as a transformative academic platform, dedicated to bridging clinical knowledge with emerging global healthcare trends. This year’s theme, “The Complete Conference for Comprehensive Care,” reflects the conference’s commitment to holistic learning, interdisciplinary dialogue, and future-ready medical education.

The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of several distinguished guests. Dr. Mukul Bhattacharyya, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of the West Bengal University of Health Sciences; Prof. Indrajit Saha, Director of Medical Education, Government of West Bengal; and Dr. Swapan Soren, Director of Health Service, Government of West Bengal, joined the event, reaffirming the government’s support for collaborative initiatives in medical education and public health.

Dr. B.N. Gangadhar, Chairman of the National Medical Commission, joined the ceremony virtually, adding significant value to the inaugural session through his insights on the evolving landscape of healthcare regulation and education in India.

Dr.Payodhi Dhar – the man behind this academic ordeal – said “This conference is for everyone with a vision of universal healthcare & with an intention to contribute in India’s journey in global healthcare leadership.” He also added that “The mission of Kolkata Nurture Foundation & HOPECON is to create an education-employment-empowerment triad for the nation’s development through healthcare.”

Addressing the audience, Dr. Pradip Kumar Mitra said, “HOPECON has always stood as a beacon of integrated healthcare learning. With the inclusion of new fraternities and emerging topics such as artificial intelligence, public health policy, biomedical research, and clinical trials, we are not just organizing a conference — we are building the future of medical dialogue and delivery in India.”

Dr.Raja Dhar expressed that “HOPE HEALTH platform is coming up with national level academic initiative of global standards very soon,where India will lead the world”
Dr.Arup Kumar Kundu has informed that “HOPECON is coming up with a Indian treatment guideline & perspective in the coming 3 months”.

The first academic session of HOPECON’25 took place following the inauguration, setting the tone for two more days of impactful discussions and cross-disciplinary learning. Sessions will continue on 28th and 29th June, covering more than 30 fraternities including ENT, Microbiology, Nuclear Medicine, Urology, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Women’s Medicine, Surgery, Radiology, Quality & Accreditation Medicine, Oral Health, and Nutrition.
Dr.Apurba Kumar Mukherjee said “We at HOPECON believe that A PATIENT is a COMPLETE human being at first & respect to him/her is of Pivotal importance “.

With a focus on practical insights, real-world challenges, and future technologies, the conference remains a vital touch point for every stakeholder invested in the advancement of India’s healthcare system.
