Bhopal/Chandigarh, May 13, 2026:

With cancer cases rising steadily across India, the demand for specialised cancer care in regional healthcare hubs has become more important than ever. In Madhya Pradesh, cancer remains a growing public health concern, with ICMR-NCDIR data projecting 88,297 new cancer cases in 2025, including 43,097 cases among men and 45,200 among women. The state also continues to face major cancer-linked risk factors such as tobacco consumption, second-hand smoke exposure, alcohol use, obesity and other lifestyle-related health concerns.

In line with its mission to make cancer care more accessible beyond metro cities, Cancer
Healer Center has launched its new centre in Bhopal, marking the organisation’s 28th center in India. The expansion is aimed at supporting patients from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and neighbouring regions with expert cancer consultation, personalised treatment planning, regular follow-up and long-term care support.

For many cancer patients and their families, the biggest challenge is not only treatment but
also timely guidance, second opinion, report evaluation and continuous medical support.
Patients from smaller cities often have to travel repeatedly to larger metros for consultations and follow-ups, which adds emotional, physical and financial strain. The new Bhopal centre seeks to address this gap by bringing structured cancer care guidance closer to patients.

The center will follow Cancer Healer Center’s immunology-led approach, which focuses on
understanding each patient’s cancer profile, immunity status, medical history, previous
treatment response and overall wellbeing. The care model is centred around Cancer Healer
Therapy, an integrative cancer care protocol that works in alignment with the principles of
immunotherapy and aims to support the body’s immune response during the cancer care
journey.

Speaking on the launch, Dr. Tarang Krishna, Managing Director, Cancer Healer Center, said, “With the launch of our Bhopal centre, we are taking another important step towards making specialised cancer care more reachable for patients in Central India. Cancer treatment requires more than medicines; it requires the right guidance, timely decisions, emotional reassurance and continuous support. Our goal is to help patients and families receive personalised, immunology-informed care closer to home, with compassion and clarity at every stage of the journey.”

The launch also reflects Cancer Healer Center’s broader focus on holistic wellbeing. The
organisation recently co-powered Sitar for Mental Health, a cause-led initiative held across
Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad featuring Rishab Rikhiram Sharma. The programme used music as a medium to encourage conversations around emotional wellbeing, healing and mental health, reinforcing the importance of psychological support alongside medical care. With its 28th centre in Bhopal, Cancer Healer Center continues to strengthen its national presence and commitment to offering accessible, personalised and compassionate cancer care support to patients across India.
