President thanks Himachal State Government for hospitality  

“President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind has extended his warm wishes to the State Government for facilating his visit which took place from 20^th to 25^thmay, 2018 to Himachal Pradesh.”

Chandigarh, June 10, 2018:

In a letter to the Governor of Himachal Pradesh Acharya Devvrat, the President has conveyed his appreciation for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to him and the team from Rashtrapati Bhavan. He also conveyed his thanks for Civic Reception hosted by the State Government and to the Governor for hosting a Banquet at Raj Bhavan.

The President also conveyed that his stay was memorable in Mashobra and expressed his happiness to walk along Shimla’s iconic Mall Road and visit to Shimla Water Catchment and Wildlife Sanctuary. In the letter, he said that the President enjoyed his interaction with the residents of Shimla and tourists.
