Camps to be organised for the disabled – Minister Shri Bhargav

Bhopal, August 20, 2018 :

Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri Gopal Bhargav said that camps will be organised under ADIP and Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana to provide artificial parts of the body to the disabled. In this series, the first three-day camp is being organised at Rehli tehsil of Sagar district from August 28 to August 30, 2018.

Minister Shri Bhargav said that the state government organises such camps regularly at various levels in coordination with voluntary organisations to make available artificial body parts and other health facilities to disabled persons.

In this series, a three-day camp is being organised under the ADIP Yojana of Government of India in which disabled persons of Rehli, Gadhakota, Shahpur tehsils of Sagar district will be examined free-of-cost and equipments will be made available to them. Rehabilitation expert Shri Vikram Kumar, Shri Anil Banjara (Audiologist), Dr. Manish Gupta, Shri Ashok Vishwakarma and Shri Anup Sengar will render their services at the camps.

To avail the benefits of ADIP Yojana, the disabled persons must produce a certificate of above 40 percent disability, aadhar card, income certificate of Rs 15 thousand per month, voter photo Id, ration card and one passport size photo. The disabled persons will be provided artificial teeth, ear machines and other equipments as per their need. To avail the benefits of Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana, B.P.L card, Senior Citizens Pension Card, Voter Card and handicapped certificate will have to be produced.
