Aster CMI Hospital Organizes a Wishing Tree Campaign to fulfil the wishes of Childhood Cancer Survivors

In a bid to spread awareness on pediatric cancer on International Childhood Cancer Day (February 15th, 2019), Aster CMI Hospital organized a Wishing Tree Campaign as a part of Aster Volunteers program to make the wishes of a few cancer surviving patients come true. With an aim to bring smiles on the faces of these children, the hospital undertook this project and put up the wishes of these children on a customized tree. Several doctors, donors and as well as the staff at the hospital participated in the celebration  and came forward to make the wishes of these children turn into reality. As a part of the wishing tree celebration, the hospital also fulfilled the wishes of several underprivileged children from Rainbow Home by gifting them various goodies. Rainbow Home which is an NGO is also part of Need Base India and works in association with the government schools. The children were thrilled to receive gifts such as  musical instruments, sports equipment, clothes, shoes, books, stationary, toys and much more.

Aster CMI Hospital, has continuously been touching little lives in their special ways for the last few years as a part of the global CSR platform titled ‘Aster Volunteers’. Aster Volunteers program is the global corporate social responsibility initiative of Aster DM Healthcare.
