Max Healthcare – Dil Ki Baat Mega Cyclathon Event

New Delhi, September 24, 2022:

On the occasion of the upcoming World Heart Day, Max Hospitals organised Dil Ki Baat – “Ride for your heart” Cyclothon Event on 24th September, 2022 in Delhi-NCR. The aim was to create widespread awareness around the importance of physical exercise for heart health, especially in the youth to encourage them to adopt a healthier and more active lifestyle. Given the increase of incidences of heart diseases in youngsters owing to lifestyle issues, stress and eating habits, cycling and other forms of regular exercise are important to ensure heart health.

The event, organised in partnership with Raahgiri, was flagged off simultaneously, early morning from Max Hospitals across Delhi NCR – Saket, Patparganj, Vaishali, BLK-Max, Shalimar Bagh and Gurugram till their destination at Inner Circle, Connaught Place. The final culmination event in Connaught Place saw active interaction and participation by the cycling enthusiasts who engaged in fun-filled activities.

A team of cardiologists from Max Hospitals also interacted with the crowd and answered their concerns about heart health. The mega Cyclothon saw the participation of over 1,000 people from over 20 cycling groups across NCR and fitness enthusiasts. While the aim was to pledge 5000 Kms of cycling for heart health, the initiative was able to clock more than 13000 Kms collectively to raise awareness about heart health in youth, thanks to the enthusiasm of cyclists across the city.
