It is that outstanding contribution to the society which stands out and sets the way, creates the light, shows the path, inspires others and for that I can only say a very big thank you, a great congratulations and most importantly wish you the strength, the energy, the inspiration and the courage to continue to take forward the legacy, because there is so much more to do. Today is a day of celebration and it is also a day of introspection.

This day also reminds us of the critical role you all play to save lives and educate people and families on the importance of staying healthy. On this very special day when we celebrate the 34th Anniversary, let us once again rededicate ourselves to the extremely powerful message our Chairman gave us 39 years ago, in fact he conceived it 42 years ago, the moto of bringing the best of healthcare and continue to focus on keeping people healthy. Let’s work to protect what is priceless, that’s what you all do every day, you are curing, you are saving and also focusing on prevention.

What you do is not limited to India and Indian patients, but for patients from all over the world. Recently I was in Indonesia as a representative of the Indian Government as part of G24 Women and everyone there was well aware of Apollo Hospitals and its work and very appreciative of our extraordinary achievements in the healthcare domain. This is the power that you bring, the recognition and appreciation. Indonesia is very soon going to have a direct flight to here, the Ambassador was very keen to have one, because he realises the need. So you are becoming the epicentre of the world, let us continue to strengthen our internal capabilities, let us enhance our physical look and feel. Ultimately everything you do is building up the aura, the beauty, the capability and the spirit of this institution, please cherish it, protect it, strengthen it and enable it to grow.

Let us combine our personal dreams with our institutional dreams and move ahead to serve more and more people. It is the heart and spirit you posses which really saves lives, that’ s what all of you can do, will do and are continuing to do. During these 34 years we pioneered so many procedures and surgeries, that gives us a sense of pride, also a sense of responsibility and that the journey doesn’t stop, because science is continuing to grow and evolve, let’s stay ahead and continue to be the pioneer.

Robotics is transforming the way treatment is rendered and Apollo Hospitals has been the pioneer in making it accessible and popularising Robotic surgery in India and it’s time to leverage the power of robots in all the treatments.
