New Delhi, September 22, 2022:
We are celebrating the 75th year of our Independence. Over these seven and half decades, various health indicators have improved considerably in the country. Life expectancy at birth has increased, infant and maternal mortality have immensely reduced and many deadly diseases such as smallpox and polio have been completely eradicated.
However, still India has a low doctor to population ratio, at 1:1,511 against the WHO norm of 1:1,000. Also, lack of trained medical personnel, shortage and affordable cost of medicines, relatively few numbers of quality hospitals and Inadequate infrastructure, health insurance coverage, limited access to health facilities, lack of awareness regarding hygiene are the key challenges to provide quality healthcare in India.
Organizations may apply nominations for Healthcare Awards in special categories. Last date of nominations is 25th September 2022. You may also explore the speaking and branding opportunities through partnership.
