Chandigarh’s Lad Soars High in JEE MAIN

The much-awaited result of JEE MAIN reaped sweet fruits for Chandigarh’s boy, Chaitanya who secured 99.99 percentile in July attempt, his score in various subjects is: Physics-99.99Percentile Chemistry-100Percentile  Maths-99.98 Percentile, has brought laurels to the institute. A student of the coveted Sri Chaitanya Institute, Chaitanya owes his success to his mentors & his parents who have been the pillars of strength in his endeavour to achieve this success. 

More than 40 students of Sri Chaitanya Institute have scored 99 percentile and above in JEE MAIN (July attempt)

While sharing his success mantra, Chaitanya said, “I joined Sri Chaitanya in class-11th with IIT as a dream. Consistency is the key to success, Whatever you study revise it at regular intervals. If you focus well, your study hours won’t really matter. Have faith in your teachers and their guidance, and always ensure that your knowledge is conceptually sound.”

He added, “That teachers at Sri Chaitanya have brought out the best in me. Physics teacher made learning Physics, Chemistry teacher’s vast knowledge in Organic helped me a lot and Maths teacher’s two words “keep fighting” kept me motivated. I really enjoyed learning here at Sri Chaitanya, as the teachers were very supportive in all the ups & downs. They made even the most uncertain lockdown seem fruitful and knowledgeable.” 

He credits his success to his mentors, at Sri Chaitanya Institute Chandigarh for the right guidance and encouragement during the difficult times. Chaitanya’s father Mr. Sanjeev Gupta is in the real estate business and his mother Mrs. Nisha Singla is a senior nursing officer at PGIMER Chandigarh. His sister, Niharika, is pursuing her B.com from S.D College Chandigarh. He thanks all the teachers for their unconditional support during his journey. 

This achievement adds another feather in his cap as he has also previously been the state topper for the NTSE examination in class 10th and has cleared Various prominent examinations including KVPY, RMO, INCho INAO and has also scored 98.4 and 97 percent marks in class 10th and 12th board examinations respectively. 

He is interested in astrophysics and computer science since a very young age and aspires to pursue B.Tech CSE from IIT Bombay in future. He is now preparing for his JEE advance examination and hopes to repeat his success story in that as well. Around 7.09 lakh students appeared for the JEE main examination held between 20th July 2021, 22nd July 2021, 25th July,2021 and 27th July 2021.

Rejoicing over Chaitanya’s success, his parents said, “My son has always been a topper and has worked very hard for the past two years to achieve this rank. We are very happy with his performance.”
