CallHealtha customer convenience platform for healthcare needs, and NephroPlusIndia’s largest dialysis center network, two Hyderabad based prominent startups in the healthcare space, announced the launch of a joint initiative, ‘At Home Dialysis’, to render dialysis services at the doorstep for chronic kidney patients, needing maintenance dialysis. An MoU was signed by CallHealth and NephroPlus, to kickstart the initiative and have initially rolled it out in Hyderabad city and will progressively foray with the service pan-India.

Dialysis patients are highly susceptible to infections and are facing immense challenges with the prevailing COVID-19 conditions, obviously they dread visiting Hospitals based dialysis centers. Each visit takes 5 to 6 hours of their time. To help them overcome the trauma, reduce inconvenience and experience utmost safety, CallHealth and NephroPlus bring dialysis care within the precincts of their homes, says Vikram Vuppala, Founder & CEO, NephroPlus.

As part of the initiative, NephroPlus will bring its enormous expertise in dialysis care within the access for home dialysis to patients, while CallHealth will focus on customer convenience and related healthcare services. Together, they will ensure end to end services to the patients including diagnostics, patient support, dialysis and post dialysis care. A team of dedicated medical professionals, nursing staff and technicians will render these services with least inconvenience and utmost care and safety for the patients. The understanding also enables NephroPlus patients to access virtual services of CallHealth for all their healthcare needs.

This initiative will bring a paradigm shift in dialysis care in the country. Besides reassuring the patients, this unique service will bring in great convenience at a marginally higher cost.
