TraceTxt Technology Pvt. Ltd. unveils a Messaging Security application named TraceTxt that focuses on Cyber Security and aims to put a stop to messaging frauds by providing a Tamper Proof Messaging solution.
In November 2018 the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) had mandated telecom companies to deploy Blockchain-based solution for curbing the growing menace of spam messaging by registering brands, their headers and SMS content on the system. TraceTxt has been designed keeping in mind the respective guidelines, eliminates OTP Frauds, Message Droppings and Data Misappropriation by intermediaries. The tamper proof messaging solution aims to deliver the message in a more secured ways; it uses messaging encryption, Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence.
At a time when industry is reeling under the pressure due to rapidly increasing cases of fraudsters and cyber crooks to obtain OTP’s, TraceTxt application addresses the challenges faced by enterprises in securing the External Short Messaging Entity (ESME). It will secure any kind of transactional and promotional messages from snooping.
Currently, ESME is in plain text format that can be easily read, modified by an intruder, telemarketer and aggregators before it reaches the telecom service providers. The high valued customer data and the message is exposed. Fraudsters research customer profiles using this data, leading to financial loss to companies. Other promotional agents also use the data for profiling and sending messages. Moreover, messaging providers can make it a product of their own and reuse it or can also resale them to competitors.
Node Traceability a unique feature of TraceTxt application traces the entire SMS journey right from Enterprises, passing through Aggregators/Telemarketers to service providers and finally to intended recipient on a Real Time basis. Now an enterprise can be sure that their messages are reaching out to customers without being diverted or dropped in the way.
The application employs data ciphering in the dissemination process to block any attempt to access the data, which will result in safeguarding customer data, data misuse and data reselling. It generates a Tamper Alert in case of any breach. In the process of the flow of the message only the required details can be accessed at the intermediary junctions. The platform envisions making communication safer & smarter.
TraceTxt is a Plug n’ Play solution therefore any enterprise can integrate it within their existing infrastructure with no or minimal change seamlessly.The beta version launch was well received by various industry stakeholders. Major players from several industries are already in the integration stage of securing their SMS’s with TraceTxt. Advanced stage communication with various government institutions is also in proceedings to ensure data security using this technology.
