Delhi Government today declared , Sir Ganga Ram City Hospital , Pusa Road , New Delhi (Affiliated to Main Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Rajinder Nagar , New Delhi ) as Covid-19 hospital for admitting confirmed /suspected cases of Covid-19 on payment basis .
This is a 120 bedded healthcare facility situated on Pusa Road , New Delhi , which will start admitting patients from 03rd May 2020. This will be in addition to Sir Ganga Ram Kolmet Hospital , Pusa Road , New Delhi (Affiliated to Main – Sir Ganga Ram Hospital , Rajinder Nagar , New Delhi) , which is 42 bedded , fully operational COVID-19 facility and was recognised by Delhi Government last week as COVID-19 facility .
With this , Sir Ganga Ram Hospital , Rajinder Nagar , New Delhi will have 162 COVID-19 beds in its two nearby affiliated hospitals to cater to the rising demands of isolation beds for admitting confirmed / suspected cases of COVID-19 patients .
Dr (Brig) S.Katoch, D.M,SGRH said, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital , Rajinder Nagar , New Delhi which is the main hospital will remain for treatment of Non-COVID patients only .
