First Indian Doctor to Train U.S. Students in Radiology

For the first time, an Indian doctor from the field of Radiology will be imparting education and training to the students of University of Rochester, New York. Dr. T.B.S. Buxi, Chairman Department of CT & MRI, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital was recently bestowed with NBE’s “Distinguished Teacher Award” 2018, by the Vice President of India.

 Dr. T.B.S. Buxi has been appointed Adjunct Professor of Imaging Sciences in the School of Medicine and Dentistry at University of Rochester, New York, USA. Dr. Buxi has been associated with GRIPMER as a teacher faculty and has been involved in teaching and research in the field of radiology for the last 35 years. Besides being a teacher Dr. Buxi has also published numerous papers in National and International journals.

 His vast experience and achievements in the field of Radiology perhaps prompted for the last line that an US University selected an Indian Radiologist to teach US students under this preview. Dr. Buxi will teach US students visiting Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and also visit Rochester University, New York.
