Dr. Samir Parikh, Director, Department of Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences said, “Children, as well their parents and teachers tend to get extremely stressed about exams. It is important to help everyone view studies and exams in the right context and as teaching critical life skills to students. Our team has been working with schools across the country to empower students and help them prepare for important milestones in their lives. Our objective of introducing this comic series and the characters of Addy and Anayka, is to enable young readers to connect instantly and relate to them while also building the skills that are helpful in studying and taking exams, helping to manage their stress and pressure better. This is the first topic in our series, and we would subsequently be looking at other important areas of social and emotional well-being for students as well through this comic. With this, we will continue our efforts to reach out to students, helping them streamline their efforts in the best way possible.”
