New Delhi, September 10, 204:

As India’s healthcare sector is poised for significant growth, projected to reach $50 billion by 2025, the shift towards innovation and technology is increasingly prominent. With around 80% of healthcare stakeholders planning to invest more in digital tools over the next five years, it is crucial to address the sector’s challenges in providing accessible, affordable, and high-quality care to our diverse population.

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for resilient healthcare systems that can adapt quickly to crises while maintaining essential services. In response, transformative initiatives such as the National Health Mission and Ayushman Bharat scheme have been introduced, improving the availability of medical supplies and offering substantial health insurance coverage.

Recognizing technology’s pivotal role, the government has launched the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) and e-Sanjeevani to digitize healthcare delivery. Concurrently, the private sector has advanced digital technologies like robotics, telehealth, and AI to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

To foster discussions on leveraging innovation, enhancing healthcare access, and improving health outcomes across India ASSOCHAM is organising the 3rd edition of Healthcare Summit 2024 with the theme “Revolutionizing Indian Healthcare: Embracing Innovation, Expanding Care, Transforming Outcomes” scheduled on Thursday, 24th October 2024 at New Delhi.
