The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendrabhai Patel was the Guest of Honour and hailed the partnership as a prestigious milestone in advancing eye care in the state.
The Chief Minister congratulated ASG Eye Hospital and Bavishi Eye Hospitals on joining forces to expand access to high-quality ophthalmic services across Gujarat, and emphasised that such collaborations not only strengthen the healthcare ecosystem but also bring world-class medical care closer to communities.
The alliance between ASG Eye Hospital brings together Bavishi’s deep-rooted community trust and clinical expertise with ASG’s national network, advanced technology, and standardized protocols. This partnership will immediately expand access to world-class eye care across Gujarat, while maintaining Bavishi’s legacy of excellence.
These centres will be manned by round the clock for all specialities and sub specialities for ophthalmology under one roof, which include spectacle correction or LASIK, retina services, pediatric ophthalmology, Myopia clinic, Amblyopia correction, Ocular oncology, Oculoplasty and facial Aesthetics, glaucoma management, corneal transplantation along with many more.
These initiatives will be headed by
- Dr. Darshin Bavishi with 32+ years of experience specializing in comprehensive eye care including cataract surgery, refractive procedures, glaucoma management, and corneal transplantation.
- Dr. Alap Bavishi with 8+ years of specializing in cataract surgery, refractive vision correction (LASIK, SMILE), glaucoma care, and comprehensive eye health.
- Dr. Bhavik Panchal: 14 + years of experience, practicing ophthalmologist specializing in vitroretinal surgeries, uveitis disorders, retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) and Cataract. (Ex Director : L.V. Prasad Eye institute).
- Dr. Snehal Ganatra Panchal: 12+ years of experience, specializing in Pediatric Ophthalmologist, Squint and Cataract surgeries.
- Dr. Bhavya Gokani: 8 + years of experience specializing in Cataract, Refractive vision correction and glaucoma treatment.
