Committed to providing world-class healthcare to patients of Tier 2 and 3 cities in India, Nayati Healthcare plans to set up a free ‘Aarogya Mandir’ of 40-bedded Medical Unit in the upcoming Kumbh Mela to address the healthcare needs of devotees.

The camp will provide free medical services from 09 January to 19 February 2019. The ‘Aarogya Mandir’ will comprise of 20-bedded general ward, 10-bedded HDU (Critical Care) and 10-bedded Emergency unit. The well-equipped unit will be served by super specialists from General Physician, Gynaecologists, Orthopaedics , Cardiologists, Critical Care experts and other doctors, along with their teams, providing medical services to devotees suffering from dehydration, seasonal fever, headache, fracture, hyperthermia,  drowning, cuts & wounds,  trauma, food poisoning, cardiac and breathing issues as well as other ailments. These OPD/IPD services will be absolutely free of cost. All devotees will have access to the 24-hour emergency care. Moreover, there will be separate medical check-ups for men and women, respectively. A full-time pharmacy will be set up inside the ‘Aarogya Mandir’, providing free medicines as prescribed by the doctors.

Through Nayati Healthcare, Nayati Medicity began its operation as the biggest state-of-the-art hospital in Western Uttar Pradesh in February 2016. The cost of world-class medical treatment here is 40% lesser than in the metro cities and is being highly preferred by patients across the country.

Announcing the opening of the 40-bedded medical unit, His Holiness Swami Karshni Guru Sharnanand Ji Maharaj said, “Kumbh is India’s largest conglomeration of pilgrims. This year, the government is efficiently organizing the Kumbh Mela so devotees from across the world can perform the rituals at Prayagraj without any hindrance. We also wish to extend support to them by providing free medical services at the Maha Kumbh in associating with Nayati Healthcare. In the past, we have seen the Nayati team extending considerable medical support and services to the communities. Opening of a state-of-the-art hospital in Mathura by Nayati is a revolutionary step and a valuable gift for the people of Braj and nearby cities as they do not have to travel long distance for world class treatment. Niira Radia’s acceptance to our proposal of operating a medical unit during Kumbh is commendable. This ‘Aarogya Mandir’ in Kumbh will prove beneficial for millions of devotees and other attendees.”

Niira Radia, Chairperson – Nayati Healthcare, stated, “In India, the Prayag Kumbh Mela is considered a pilgrimage of faith for millions of devotees. This year, around 150 million are expected to be a part of the Holy Sangam. The government is making every effort in ensuring this celebration is a grand success. I believe that the private sector should also step forward and participate in this celebration. Nayati would be addressing all possible medical conditions, deputing specialist doctors and other support staff in providing round-the-clock cover during the peak 40-day period.

Ever since Nayati began its journey from Badrinath in 2012, our teams have been working relentlessly to impart healthcare services to the masses through our hospitals and medical mobile units. Nayati has always been in the forefront in rendering medical support in different parts of the country during disasters – be it the devastating Kerala flood or the massive cloudburst in Kedarnath”. We are grateful to His Holiness Swami Karshni Guru Sharnanand ji for giving us an opportunity to serve Kumbh devotees selflessly.”
