New Delhi, May 13, 2019 :
The Sant Nirankari Mission will pay tribute to Baba Hardev Singh Ji today on Monday, May 13, 2019, the Samarpan Diwas. Baba Ji who led the Mission for 36 years as its Spiritual Head, relinquished his physical form and merged into the Formless eternally on this day three years ago.
Devotees of the Mission all over India and abroad will organize Samagams and recall Baba Ji’s glorious contribution for the welfare of humanity through spiritual enlightenment as well as community services. The main Samagam will be held in Delhi under the divine guidance of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj.
During Baba Ji’s era, the Mission achieved tremendous expansion in all directions. Baba Ji toured the country and addressed congregations and Samagams covering almost every part of the country.
Baba Ji used all means to spread the message of the Mission to every nook and corner of the country. Besides Pracharaks, the Mission’s Magazines and a widespread support from Electronic and Print Media in the country went a long way to take the Mission forward.
The Mission found considerable expansion overseas also. The followers of the Mission spread out to almost every part of the world. The Mission which had its branches in 17 countries outside India in 1980, established itself in 60 countries under the guidance of Baba Ji.
Baba Hardev Singh Ji encouraged the youth in India and abroad to participate in various activities of the Mission with the underlying essence of togetherness. Gradually they were encouraged to take part in social welfare activities as well. Today Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji also is following this approach and activating the youth by organizing large scale Nirankari Youth Symposia (NYS) in India and abroad.
It was during his time that the Mission’s first blood donation camp was organised in 1986. Ever since their number has increased gradually across the country and aboard alike. Baba Ji also gave the Mission its first Blood Bank in Vile Parle, Mumbai on January 26, 2016.
Baba Ji also gave the Mission four hospitals in Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Agra, 137 dispensaries and 10 pathological laboratories across the country – all functioning on charitable basis. As regards education, besides two colleges, the Mission has 24 schools to provide good education even to those who normally found it out of their reach due to financial constraints. The deserving and brilliant students were given scholarships to pursue higher studies and professional courses.
It was under the guidance of Baba Ji’s that the Mission started holding country-wide cleanliness and tree plantation drives on his birthday, February 23 every year since 2003 with special attention, from time to time, to ancient monuments, Government hospitals, railway stations, beaches and river banks, parks and other place of public use. Baba Ji welcomed any such effort sponsored by various organizations in the country and offered active participation by the Mission. Baba Ji set up Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation in April, 2010 so that all these services could find better coverage on regular basis.
Nirankari Sarovar Complex was one dream project of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj which he realized during his lifetime. Nirankari Museum – ‘Journey Divine’ and the ‘Fountain of Oneness’ are attracting thousands of God-loving people every day. With several other structures including a library and a cafeteria, providing the most befitting backdrop to such a picturesque surrounding, Nirankari Sarovar Complex is a fine example of harmony between architectural skill and spirituality.
Baba Ji’s other dream projects are the Sant Nirankari Health City in Delhi and the Sant Nirankari Spiritual Complex in Samalkha. Today, Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji is carrying forward the profound legacy of Baba Ji by spreading Truth, love and Peace across the globe.
