SPARSH Group of Hospitals on expansion mode, unveils three new specialities

The SPARSH Group of hospitals, one of the largest multi-speciality healthcare providers in Karnataka, has announced the launch of three new state-of-the-art medical centres – The Institute of IVF & Reproductive Medicine, The Institute of Cosmetology & Cosmetic Surgery and The Da Vinci X Robotic Programme. The new specialities of the hospital chain were unveiled on the occasion of 17th Hospital Day anniversary and will further diversify the Group’s multi and super specialty approach in continuation of its pursuit of delivering life-transforming medical intervention. SPARSH is on the cusp of exponential growth as it plans to almost double capacity in the next two years – touching 1400 bed capacity by 2025 from its 800 beds currently.

As part of these aggressive expansion plans, the group will also launch two new hospitals soon in Bangalore in Yelahanka and Hennur with an investment of over Rs 250 crores. The hospital has also invested over Rs 15 crores in these three new specialities to consolidate the momentum of its expansion.

The new Launches are designed to reach out to patients across a spectrum of medical disciplines. The IVF Institute at SPARSH is one of the few centres in the country to have attained the License under ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology) Act 2022. The facility houses world-class equipment & protocols and patients are thoroughly evaluated and tailor-made treatments ensure the best in assisted reproduction solutions.

The IVF centre offers services like controlled ovarian stimulation, intra uterine insemination, sperm-embryo freezing, testicular sperm aspiration, genetic screening, psychological support and counselling, endometrial receptivity array amongst other treatments. Dr Deepthi Bawa is the lead Consultant on this initiative and her team is proud to include Dr Joshua Peter, one of the country’s finest embryologist – affectionately termed the “Father of Embryology” in India.

India’s population is evolving towards greater understanding and acceptance of body types and empowering people to make their own choices without fear of bias or judgment. Keeping this vision in view, the SPARSH group has brought together several specialists to unveil a new Institute that offers multiple body positive services to patients. The Institute of Cosmetology & Cosmetic Surgery offers the safest and most skilled comprehensive solutions including aesthetic and reconstructive surgeries, cosmetic gynaecology, cosmetic dermatology, cosmetic dental surgery and other aesthetic treatments with services ranging from body contouring, liposuction, abdominoplasty, neck lift, face lift among a host of others.

The department works with the motto “My Body, My Choice” and undertakes plastic and reconstructive surgery to improve self-confidence and self-esteem, functionality, looks and sexual gratification. Surgical and non-surgical methods like laser machines for revitalization are also deployed in the treatment. Team members include such stalwarts such as Dr Anand. K – a renowned plastic surgeon.

The Da Vinci X surgical robot enables surgeons to perform innovative minimally invasive surgery. Designed to perform a range of procedures, the robot provides visual guidance and ensures a broader reach during surgeries and overall treatment. The Da Vinci X technology is known for its better patient outcomes, ensures less pain, less blood loss and shorter hospital stay. Da Vinci X has innovative features including voice and laser guidance systems, a lightweight endoscope, and a control console and 3D optics system that lets surgeons see into the patients as they operate the device.
