T20 Wheelchair Cricket Tri-Series 2026 Begins Today in Delhi

On the occasion of National Sports Day, Delhi MLA Harish Khurana announced the upcoming T20 Wheelchair Cricket Tri-Series 2026, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for sports and inclusive participation.
A day to celebrate the spirit of sport, service and determination. 🇮🇳 On the occasion of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s birthday, the DWCA family extends warm wishes for a healthy and fulfilling year ahead. And that spirit comes alive on the wheelchair cricket field.
The tournament will be organised by the Delhi Wheelchair Cricket Association (DWCA) in strategic collaboration with the Public Relations Society of Delhi (PRSD). The two-day event will be held on September 17 and 18, 2026, at the Talkatora Stadium Cricket Ground in New Delhi.

The T20 Tri-Series will feature three teams and aims to celebrate sporting talent, determination, resilience and the spirit of competition among wheelchair cricket players.

DWCA representatives Vicky Lamba and Anjana Virmani expressed their gratitude to all partners and supporters associated with the initiative. They said the strategic partnership with PRSD would play an important role in developing effective communication strategies and supporting the successful organisation of the T20 Tri-Series 2026.

The event is expected to provide a platform for wheelchair cricketers to showcase their skills while promoting greater awareness and participation in inclusive sports.
