The Vice President of India Addresses the 19th Convocation of NBE; Urges doctors to serve in rural areas

Hon’ble Vice-President of India , Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu , today felicitated eight doctors from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital at 19th Convocation and Award Ceremony of National Board of Examinations held today at Vigyan Bhawan , New Delhi .

Speaking on the occasion Shri Naidu said , ” Learning is never ending process in any field but more so ever in the field of Medicine where more and more information is coming every day. Doctors should make efforts to provide quality healthcare to rural India.”

Doctors from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital has been felicitated for outstanding contribution in teaching for DNB program and have been awarded an Honorary Certificate of ” Adjunct Professor ” for a period of three years from 21/09/2018.

The SGRH doctors from various specialities who have been felicitated today by Hon’ble Vice-President of India are Dr D.S.Rana , Chairman , Department of Nephrology , Dr Vijay Arora , Chairman , Department of General Surgery , Dr Anupam Sachdeva , Director , Department of Paediatric Haematology , Dr K.K
Saxena, Chairman, Department of Radiology , Dr V.K.Khanna , Chairman , Department of Paediatrics, Dr P.K.Agarwal , Vice-Chairman, Department of Medicine , Dr Rajeev Ahuja , Senior Consultant , Department of Plastic Surgery and Dr Indrani Ganguli , Chairperson , Department of Obs. and Gynaecology .

Dr D.S.Rana credited the SGRH awards to high standards of imparting quality medical education and research by Ganga Ram Institute of Post-graduate Medical Education and Research (GRIPMER) .
