Vindhya Herbal Products doing a good job in the field of Ayurveda

Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Shri Anil Madhav Dave said that Vindhya Herbal Products has done a good job in the field of Ayurveda. The world’s faith towards Ayurveda has increased and the demand for herbal products is constantly on the rise in the global market. Shri Dave was inspecting the Small Forest Produce Processing and Research Centre at Berkheda Pathani today.

Minister of State Shri Dave gathered information about the different products while inspecting Honey Collection, Quality Inspection Centre, Modern Packaging Machine, Herbal Package Unit, Capsule Packing etc at the central unit. Shri Dave planted a Rudraksh sapling at the Centre’s premises.

Managing Director of Rajya Laghu Vanopaj Sangh Shri Jawwad Hasan said that there are more than 340 certified Ayurvedic products of Vindhya Herbals of which honey is quite popular. Chief Executive Officer Shri R.R. Okhandiyar informed that the Centre has acquired the status of recognized pharmacy from Government of India’s AYUSH department. The Centre supplies Ayurvedic medicines to the AYUSH departments of 17 states of the country.

Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Wildlife Shri Jitendra Agarwal, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Head of the Forest Force) Dr. Animesh Shukla and Forest department officers were present on the occasion.
