Chandigarh, February 02, 2022:
Mind and body wellness is an utmost important for everyone and ‘spirituality cannot be further ignored’ to achieve this goal.
The worldwide COVID–19 pandemic has aggravated the situation and posed immense uncertainty, changing the lives and livelihood, depriving work and income of many, pushing them into vicious circle of poverty. Consequently, millions of people have suffered from stress, anxiety, and depression due to this pandemic lockdown, social isolation, and restrictions.
Globally, the holistic lifestyle is revolutionizing the overall health and wellness. Mental health and physical wellness have become an important aspect during these pandemic times and is gaining momentum in India as well. Furthermore, there is a growing sensitivity and inclusion for mental wellness and emotional health as well.
A few doctors worldwide including clinicians and psychologists have started prescribing spirituality and related practices not only for general health and wellness, but also to cope with some serious illnesses. Meditation, yoga, and gratitude have become common suggestions for treatments of anxiety disorders, attention and memory concerns, anger or stress management, migraines, hypertension and even cancer. Now, the science also accepts spirituality and consider it an integrative approach for an all-round development of human being including the patient’s recovery as well.
With the paramount objectives to cascade awareness and disseminate wisdom on the significance of achieving ‘mind and body wellness’ and ‘overall development of human being through spirituality’ and adopting holistic lifestyle under Illness To Wellness campaign, ASSOCHAM is organizing a webinar on “Mind and Body Wellness Through Spirituality”
