Bhopal, July 11,2018 : 

The Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel inspected arrangement at Aaganwadi Centre, Primary and Middle School at village Hasua of Vidisha district on Tuesday. On this occasion, she tested academic level of children and made them understand the importance of sanitation. The Governor fed children with her own hands at the aaganwadi centre and gathered information about the food from the pregnant women.

Smt. Patel gathered information about the health facilities from the mothers of children, admitted in the NRC Center of the District Hospital of Vidisha and distributed fruits among the children. She tasted Khichdi prepared in the kitchen of NRC by opening pressure cooker. This khichdi is a special nutritious food given to malnourished children. Smt. Patel also inspected the T.B. Control ward of the hospital and gathered information about the facilities related to health and medicines from the patients. She gave instructions to the doctors that they should pay attention on medical history of the patients and on their health till one month from their recovery. She also inspected other wards of the hospital and interacted with the patients.

Governor Smt. Patel meets beneficiaries

The Governor Smt. Patel interacted directly with persons, benefitted by the schemes of the Union Government in Vidisha. She also informed them about the benefits of the Union and State Governments’ schemes to the beneficiaries.

Moreover, Smt. Patel inspected Gulmohar Center of Kotwali Thana of Vidisha. She told women that they should be alert and aware to get their rights. Make efforts to become self-reliant by connecting themselves with self-help groups. Do not discriminate between daughter and son. Making women understand about the importance of education, she advised them to become active in employment sector.

Smt. Patel on this occasion flagged off new Nirbhaya vehicle and Sakhi One Stop Crisis Center’s vehicle. She also honoured women benefitted from the Gulmohar Centre by presenting them shawl and shreephal.

MLA Shri Kalyan Singh Thakur, President of Jila Panchayat Shri Toran Singh Dangi, other Public Representatives, Women Police Volunteers, Representatives of various organizations connected with the Gulmohar center and Senior Administrative and Police Officers were present during her visit.
