New Delhi, June 04, 2021 :

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Friday visited Aruna Asaf Ali and LNJP Hospital of Delhi to inspect and review the status of the ongoing remodelling work of these two Delhi government hospitals. The Delhi government is remodelling the Aruna Asaf Ali Hospital to increase the number of beds. The Delhi government under the leadership of Chief Minister  Arvind Kejriwal is also making a new building at the LNJP hospital for mother and child care.

Delhi Minister of Health, Jain paid his visit to 2 different under-construction hospitals of Delhi to inspect and review the status of the work on Friday. Health Minister visited the Aruna Asaf Ali Hospital. This hospital is being remodelled by the Delhi Government with advanced facilities. This remodelling will boost the existing bed capacity of the hospital.

Later in the day, Shri Jain visited the LNJP hospital and inspected the construction site of the new building that is being constructed for mother and child care. In the tweet, Satyendar Jain stated that the LNJP hospital has been at the forefront of the fight against Covid. A new building for mother & child care is being erected by the Arvind Kejriwal Government at LNJP Hospital.

The current developments are an effort of the Delhi Government to strengthen Delhi’s healthcare infrastructure with state-of-the-art facilities so that it could serve the people of Delhi not just in the present time but for several decades.

In a bid to develop a better health infrastructure in the national capital of India the Delhi government is working on revamping several existing hospitals to increase the number of beds and also building new hospitals. Delhi Health Minister  Satyendar Jain last Wednesday visited five under construction hospitals of the Delhi government.

The Delhi government under the leadership of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is building two new hospitals at Madipur and Jwalapuri. The bed capacity of Acharya Shree Bhikshu Hospital, Shri Dada Dev Matri Avum Shishu Chikitsalaya & Guru Gobind Singh Hospital is being augmented to around 500, 300 & 572 beds, respectively.
