Fourth Mohalla Clinic inaugurated in Vinod Nagar ward, Delhi

Delhi Government is establishing Aam Aadmi Mohalla Clinics in every ward to revamp the primary healthcare system of Delhi and continually make it better. To this end, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Health Minister  Satyendar Jain inaugurated the Aam Aadmi Mohalla Clinic in Vinod Nagar ward of Patparganj constituency. It is the 9th such clinic of Patparganj and 497th in Delhi.

On this occasion, The Deputy Chief Minister said that our vision is to ensure that every citizen in Delhi receives the best healthcare facilities. He added that through this clinic, the people of Patparganj and in particular Vinod Nagar will be provided with free-of-cost facilities of health check-ups, medicines and over 200 different kinds of tests.

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that Delhi’s Mohalla Clinic Model has received appreciation and recognition across India and the world. Such appreciation is not merely the result of providing effective healthcare facilities in these clinics but also there is a level of quality patient care along with compassionate behaviour from the doctors and assistants that one gets to witness.

Speaking on BJP’s corrupt ways, the Deputy Chief Minister said that in the last 15 years of BJP led MCD’s corrupt and incapable governance, the primary healthcare system of Delhi has been completely dismantled and made unfit to be on any service.

He further elaborated that there isn’t even one health centre in the BJP governed MCD that can be called a model health centre. The Deputy Chief Minister said that Delhi’s Mohalla Clinic model is a world-class model in primary healthcare services. While the Delhi Government is also constantly trying to make it better by enhancing its facilities so that every citizen in Delhi receives the best healthcare.
