Free medical facilities to the poor: Chief Minister Shri Chauhan

Chief Minister pays homage to new multi-storeyed building in Katju Hospital

Bhopal, May 08, 2018 : Chief Minister, Mr. Shivraj Singh Chauhan has done a lot of worship to build a new 100-bed new multi-storey building at Dr. Kailash Nath Katju Hospital. Revenue Minister, Shri Umashankar Gupta, MP, Mr. Alok Sajjar, senior officers of Health Department and people from the area were present in large numbers.

The Chief Minister said that the facility for treatment of the poor would be available free of cost. He challenged the able people to help themselves with self motivation to get the poor poor government’s benefit of poor welfare schemes.

It is worth mentioning that at present Katju Hospital has twenty bed facility. Now it will become fully facilitated in terms of health facilities. It has a well-equipped labor room, OPD and operation theater.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister left the ‘Food Safety on Wheel’ vehicle for the convenience of the common man. The quality of food ingredients in the vehicle will also be available for testing. Citizens can take advantage of this.
