Health Minister, Himachal Pradesh pays surprise visit to KNH, inspects various Wards

Shimla, July 23, 2018:

Health and Family Welfare Minister Vipin Singh Parmar today paid surprise visit to the Kamla Nehru Mother and Child Hospital, Shimla and inspected various Wards and facilities being provided to the patients.

He also inspected the under construction 100 bedded additional building of the hospital and directed the authorities concerned to complete the remaining work of setting up of transformer and lift in a stipulated time period.

The Minister directed the hospital administration to ensure proper cleanliness in all the Wards, OPD’s, toilets and hospital premises. He said the radiology and other machines installed in the hospital for various medical tests should be maintained properly so that patients did not face any problem in their treatment. He also enquired well being of female patients admitted in ICU, special and general Wards.

Medical Superintendent Bishan Dhiman, senior doctors and officers of electricity and PWD departments were present on the occasion.
