Delhi Minister of Health, Satyendar Jain paid his visit to three different under-construction hospitals of Delhi to inspect and review their status on Saturday. He said that a new block consisting of 460 beds, dedicated to mother & child care is being built at Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital by the Arvind Kejriwal Government.
Jain also visited the Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsaly where the Delhi Government has been working to construct a new 610 bedded facility. He ended his visit by inspecting the Hedgewar Aarogya Sansthan. The Delhi government is working to increase the existing bed capacity of Dr Hedgewar Aarogya Sansthan to 550 beds.
In a bid to develop a better health infrastructure in the national capital of India the Delhi Government is working on revamping several existing hospitals to increase the number of beds and also building new hospitals.
Health Minister visited the Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital. “A new block consisting of 460 beds, dedicated to mother & child care is being built at Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital by the Arvind Kejriwal Government”, tweeted Satyendar Jain. This hospital is being remodelled by the Delhi Government keeping the current as well as future healthcare needs of the people of Delhi in mind.
Thereafter, Shri Jain visited the Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsaly. Delhi Government is preparing to extend the capacity of this healthcare facility. To bring this into action, the Delhi Government is planning to construct a new 610 bedded facility at the Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsaly complex.
Later in the day, Shri Satyendar Jain visited Dr Hedgewar Aarogya Sansthan. This hospital is also being remodelled by the Delhi Government, after which its existing bed capacity will increase to 550 beds.
The current developments are an effort of the Delhi Government to strengthen Delhi’s healthcare infrastructure with state-of-the-art facilities so that it could serve the people of Delhi not just in the present time but for several decades.
