Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences has been ranked as the best Dental institution amongst government and private dental institutes in the country, as per an independent survey carried out by a prestigious media group.

The institution believes that getting first rank is a remarkable feat not only for MAIDS but for the entire Government of NCT of Delhi. The institute humbly believes that this achievement is another feather in the cap and a big moment that needs to be applauded by all. During COVID-19 pandemic any ideas was operating without any disruptions. The institute pledges to serve the citizens of Delhi even during the pandemic period with increased zest and zeal and take the Institute to further heights.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took cognisance of the occasion and stated, “In the last six years, the Aam Aadmi Party government has made a lot of investment in health infrastructure. As a result, government hospitals in Delhi are better than private hospitals today. Delhi’s government health infrastructure is being talked about all over the world today. This is also the reason why Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences has stood first in the category of dental colleges. Now, the confidence of the people in the government system has increased.”

Delhi‘s Health Minister Satyendra Jain congratulated MAIDS on this accomplishment with immense pride and stated, “This is indeed an event of pride for us and proves the relentless working of MAIDS and the way it worked in synchronised manner with the Delhi government. Throughout the pandemic, the institute has been working for the welfare of the people of Delhi. We must thank all the faculty, staff and the healthcare workers of the institute for their continued support.”

Jain further emphasised the way the Delhi government has been persistently working on a war footing towards upgrading and enhancing medical infrastructure so that Delhi is better prepared for anything that might come our way.
