Rajendra Pal Gautam discusses on Allotment of dwelling units (100 No.) constructed by Social Welfare Deptt. for Leprosy patients at the leprosy complex

Minister of Social Welfare, Rajendra Pal Gautam chaired a meeting with officials of the Social Welfare Department, Delhi Jal Board and Public Works Department regarding various infrastructural projects at Tahirpur Leprosy Complex and Sunder Nagari Delhi.
The minister directed the officials of Social Welfare Department to resolve the long pending issue of allotment of dwelling units (100 No.) constructed by Social Welfare Deptt. at the leprosy complex. Minister Shri Gautam directed the officials that the pendency has to be resolved at the earliest.
About the work under Delhi Jal Board, Rajendra Pal Gautam discussed an elaborate plan to install a rainwater harvesting system in the Tahirpur Leprosy Complex. The minister also directed the officials of DJB to issue water connections and install meters in the name of individuals at the Complex.
The minister also directed the officials of PWD to construct a community centre at the Tahirpur Complex for recreational activities. Along with that, he also raised that a bank branch should be opened in the Sunder Nagari area for the ease of the residents.
