Over 13,000 Hospital beds vacant in Delhi says Satyendar Jain

Recognising the dangers of the new variant the Kejriwal Government has taken the most stringent measures in the country to protect the public. Health Minister Satyendar Jain provided detailed information on Corona cases in the city on Friday. He said, “In the last 24 hours, 28,867 new cases of corona have been reported in Delhi, with a positivity rate of 29.21 percent; and 31 deaths have occurred as a result of Covid.”. In addition, Jain stated that the rate of hospital admission has been low in recent days. As a result, 85 percent of Delhi’s total beds are vacant, with over 13,000 beds remaining vacant.

“Despite new cases arriving every day for the past few days, the number of patients admitted to the hospital is currently stable,” the Health Minister said.

In Delhi, those who did not receive the corona vaccine accounted for 75% of the deaths caused by the disease. According to the data, 90 percent of the deaths occurred as a result of another disease.

Satyendar Jain stated that the Delhi government is prepared to maintain robust health services on all fronts. CM Arvind Kejriwal’s government has taken the most stringent measures in the country, recognising the dangers of the new variant. Steps have been taken in the public interest, ranging from weekend curfews to the closure of educational institutions, to protect people’s health and save lives.”

He further added, “the hospitals have sufficient number of beds available and the situation is under control as of now, there is no need to panic”. The best way to prevent corona is to wear a mask at all times and follow all Covid related protocols at all times. He said that all precautions are being taken by the Delhi government so that the pace of infection can slow down in Delhi. The government is requesting the public that as the health department and health workers are making efforts on the front line, with the same energy, people should also put on masks, clean their hands with hand sanitizer and follow the rules of social distancing. In Delhi, the Kejriwal government has intensified the vaccination campaigns so that more and more people can fight against the virus with stronger immunity.

The Health Minister urged people to follow the rules related to Corona. He urged the people to wear masks for safety and follow social distancing while going to public places. He told the people of the state through the press, ‘There is no need to panic. The only way to prevent the virus from spreading is to always wear a mask when you are going out of your home and follow all the protocols related to COVID at all times.
