On the occasion of National Doctors’ Day, Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal and Health Minister,  Satyendar Jain thanked doctors, nurses and paramedic staff for their exceptional service during the 2nd wave of Covid-19. Arvind Kejriwal said that there is a need to work together to combat the Coronavirus.

Later, Satyendar Jain inaugurated new dialysis and paediatric ICU ward at the Indira Gandhi Hospital. Satyendar Jain said that Delhi Government’s Indira Gandhi Hospital is ready for the 3rd wave of Covid-19. Satyendar Jain further said that Indira Gandhi Hospital’s 1243 beds are ready for patients in all respects.

Satyendar Jain added that the Kejriwal Government is making world-class health facilities for its citizens. Arvind Kejriwal and Satyendar Jain expressed their gratitude towards the Indian Society of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for their contribution during the second wave of Covid-19.

On the occasion, Delhi’s Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal also extended his gratitude to the doctors, nurses and paramedic staff for their outstanding work during the pandemic. Shri Arvind Kejriwal said, “On behalf of the Delhi Government and the people of Delhi, I thank every doctor, nurse and paramedic staff for working selflessly during this pandemic.”

Arvind Kejriwal added, “We are dealing with the Coronavirus pandemic for more than one year now. We have faced two waves of it. The second wave was more brutal. Every family was affected by the second wave. A lot of people also lost their lives during this time. Delhi Government with doctors, nurses and paramedic staff tried their best to combat the virus.”

Arvind Kejriwal further said, “Coronavirus is such a larger problem and no government or institution can deal with it individually. We need to work together to combat the Coronavirus. We would not have succeeded if we had not got cooperation from society. Thankful to the charitable trusts, non-profit organisations, and corporate sector that stepped up during this tough time and lent a helping hand.” While thanking the Indian Society of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Arvind Kejriwal said, “On behalf of the Delhi Government, I thank them for their support. Delhi Government is trying that the problems we faced during the second wave, especially with regard to oxygen, don’t occur during the third wave.”

Satyendar Jain inaugurated new dialysis and paediatric ICU ward at the Indira Gandhi Hospital on Thursday. Satyendar Jain said, “I thank all the doctors, nurses and paramedic staff for providing their exceptional service during the 2nd wave of Coronavirus.” Satyendar Jain further said, “Delhi Government’s Indira Gandhi Hospital is ready for the apprehended 3rd wave of Covid-19. Indira Gandhi Hospital’s 1243 beds are ready for patients in all respects.” Satyendar Jain also said, “Delhi Government is making world-class health facilities in Delhi for its citizens. This is how Arvind Kejriwal Government is working for the people of Delhi.”

Satyendar Jain also thanked the Indian Society of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and said, “Despite the huge shortage of medical supplies in the market, the trust provided us with 1200 high-quality parameter patient monitors.

This was the time when we were facing a shortage of monitors and the Indian Society of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints provided us great relief. Not only this, they generously donated 500 high-quality oxygen concentrators each of 10 litres.” “On behalf of the Delhi Government and the whole health department, I thank them for their kind and generous support,” said Satyendar Jain.
