Donor Insemination (DI)

March 23, 2017

Donor Insemination is required in couples when the male partner has low quality semen parameters. Hence, IUI is carried out with the help from a donor who is ready to donate his sperms.
There may be many questions that arise before agreeing Donor IUI – donor selection could be the major one. You may require analyzing the basic information about the donor like physical characteristics, race, ethnic background, educational background, career history, and general health etc. The donor should be free from certain infections like such as syphilis, hepatitis B, cytomegalovirus (CMV), gonorrhea, chlamydia, streptococcal species and trichomonas.
The success rate of donor IUI is quite high in cases where the female partner is normal and is below the age of 35.
Donors are arranged with a lot of care and compassion for the concerned couple undergoing treatment at First Step IVF.
