The hotel and travel industry is showing the affect of air pollution on North India. International travellers are preferring to go to Moscow and St. Petersburg. In one of the internal correspondence of a five star hotel facility ion North India, the picture is clear
“Clients have called me right now. They have been considering the option and finally have decided not to travel to India…they want to change the trip to Moscow and St. Petersburg…they are really worried about the pollution. Here you have some Spanish news published on these days, and also on tv the news is the same”
Many countries including the Spain also are advising not to travel to India. The pollution matter is now a National concern and the image of the country is getting effected. If something is not done on priority the matter will only worsen
- For government: Call a total North India holiday for one day and study the effect of vehicles on pollution
- Stop the peddy burning for 72 hours and see the effect
- Stop the construction for 72 hours in North India and study the effect on air pollution
Remember the ideal air pollution PM 2.5 is < 10 and there studies can be done even if the 2.5 levels are 200

Fight for your rights and ask the government to prise the air pollution masks and air purifiers / air filters. We have a right to breath fresh air.
