Indian Army will train Doctors at high altitude

Indian Army’s High Altitude Warfare School will train Six Sigma Healthcare in High Altitude Rescue techniques at Kashmir

For the first time in the history of Armed Forces, INDIAN ARMY will impart High Altitude Training to private medical team of Six Sigma at High Altitude Warfare School, Gulmarg, Kashmir.

In India, Six Sigma is the only non government organization in India, that is trained by the maximum number of Military & Para Military Forces- Airforce, ITBP, BSF, CRPF & NDRF.  Six Sigma Healthcare is prominent medical organization for providing free MOUNTAIN MEDICINE SERVICES at high hills. Without any help or donations at Any Time – Any Where- Any Weather- Any Height Six Sigma is always ready for duty. Six Sigma Healthcare is remembered after God when someone is in trouble or someone is lost in the hills.

Exercise includes the exercises on Mountain Medicines, Latest Mountain equipment, Rock climbing, River crossing, Peak climbing, Rappelling, Basic life support , Advance Cardiac life support, Communication on High Altitudes, Glacier and Avalanche Rescue etc.

The  exercise is conducted first time in collaboration with Indian Army, the aim was to train the “Medical Officer’s of Six Sigma Team, because the organization is highly active on high altitudes medical services and rescue work. These life saving skills will help them in better rescue management on high hills, said Dr. Pradeep Bhardwaj, Medical Director- Six Sigma High Altitude Medical Rescue Services. The Mountain Medicines is the most difficult medical services. Every year Millions of people travel to high-altitude every year for recreation and for work. Twenty percent of those traveling to altitudes below 5500 m/18,000 ft are affected by some form of altitude illness.

This year Six Sigma High Altitude team is organizing free high altitude medical services in 2019 at Kedarnath, Badrinath, Hemkund and Madhyamaheshwar in Uttrkahnd. The team will also cover Kailash Mansarover Yatra medical services at Nepal route up to the height of 19500 feet in China.
