World Environment day with Traffic Police Personnel

“More than 500 saplings were distributed to passers-by and patients visiting the hospitals”

Bengaluru, June 07, 2022:

In keeping up with this year’s World Environment Day theme “Only One Earth”, Aster Hospitals, Bengaluru in association with Aster Volunteers and traffic police personnel came forward to encourage people to take action and protect the environment. An awareness program on ‘Plant to Save Trees’ was conducted in Hebbal, Kodigehalli, JP Nagar and Whitefield.

During the event, placards were displayed and slogans were raised to create awareness in people about the importance of a healthy and green environment. More than 500 saplings were distributed to passers-by and patients visiting the hospitals.

Ecosystem, the fabric of life on which we all depend, is rapidly declining because of human actions. These actions have affected the environment in many ways and led to pollution. Due to this, the quality of air, water, soil, etc. has been depleted which can cause many infectious diseases.

On this World Environment Day, let’s pledge to become good citizens and encourage, support and act to save our planet earth.
