104 yrs old centenarian successfully vaccinated for COVID-19 without any adverse effects

Tulsi Das Chawla born on 01st November 1917 was successfully vaccinated with first dose of CoviShield vaccine yesterday at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital without facing any problem or adverse effects.

Tulsi Das chawla resident of Patel Nagar , New Delhi was in Indian Foreign Service from where he retired in 1975 and was posted in various countries like United States of America , Netherlands, Pakistan and Africa. At the age of 104 Mr Chawla leads an active life and does not suffer from any major Comorbidities .
He has 2 sons , 2 daughters, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grand children.
According to Tulsi Das chawla , ” I urge everyone who is eligible to come forward to take Covid Vaccine . It is totally safe .”

According to Deepak Sikand, an Architect, People shouldn’t hesitate and should come forward to get themselves vaccinated at the earliest. It is perfectly safe vaccination and the procedure to get vaccinated is well organised by the Hospital.”

According to Dr D S Rana , Chairman (BOM) , SGRH ” We are witnessing huge enthusiasm among more than 60 years of age group. Mr Chawla is an inspiration to all of us to come forward with out any hesitation for Covid vaccination.”

Today 476 people were vaccinated at SGRH.
